Department of Pharmacognosy :
Department of Pharmacognosy has separate laboratories for under graduate, postgraduate experimentation and research activities. Each lab is well equipped with required instruments like Microtome, Camera Fitted Research Microscope, Extractors, Trinocular microscope etc. Labs have a collection of around 210 crude drug samples. Department has well maintained herbal garden.

Department of Pharmaceutics :
Department of pharmaceutics has separate labs for UP and PG programmes. The laboratories are well equipped with conventional and modern devices like Tablet Machine, Dissolution Apparatus, Disintegration Apparatus, Friabilator, Humidity Chamber, Oven, Magnetic Stirrer, Capsule Filling Machine, Double Beam UV spectrophotometer, Bulk Density Apparatus, Double Cone Blender, Shakers, and Viscometers. Each lab is spacious, provided with adequate supply of water and electricity, and well ventilated.

Department of Pharmacology :
Pharmacology department has separate well-equipped labs for under graduate and postgraduate students. Labs contains many automatic or digitals equipment like elevated plus maze, Actophotometer, Histamine chamber, Rotarod apparatus, Double beam UV-spectrophotometer, HPLC, Eddi’s hotplate apparatus etc along with conventional equipments like Organ Bath, Operation Table, Haemocytometer, Haemoglobinometer, Analgesiometer, Convulsometer etc. A separate animal house facility for the lab animals to smoothly carry out undergraduate and postgraduate research activity, which house rats, rabbits, mice etc.
Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry :
Pharmaceutical Chemistry department has separate labs for undergraduate, postgraduate and research activities. Chemistry labs are well equipped with conventional and modern instruments like bio-safety hood, water bath, ovens, heating mantles, Double Beam UV spectrophotometer, HPLC, melting point apparatus and attached storeroom, balance room and instrument room.
The Course is of four semester duration (2 years) out of which 2 semesters will cover the course work and the last two semesters will be devoted to research project and training in a Pharmaceutical Industry. The students qualifying this course will meet the current and future requirements of R&D personnel from the Pharmaceutical Industry.
